HOPE4THBROKEN MINISTRIES is established as a church and began in 2012 with a father and son who God called out of the institutional church to "go" and be disciples of Jesus, after revealing what it truly meant to love your neighbor as yourself (see Testimony video on this website).  However, it is not what most would think of a "church" in the traditional sense.  We are a small group of believers in and followers of Jesus Christ who have felt God's call to come out of the institutional church to go into the harvest and fulfill Christ's commission to all believers in His final words to his disciples before His ascension back to heaven after His resurrection and return to further minister to His followers:

And he said unto them, GO YE into all the world, AND PREACH the gospel to every creature. HE THAT BELIEVETH AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED; but he that believeth not shall be damned. AND THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.  Mark 16:15-18   [And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and CONFIRMING THE WORD WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING.  Mark 16:20]

This is obviously the commission to all believers in Christ (not just to the twelve apostles).  When Jesus had earlier said that whoever would follow Him must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Him, He meant that we must truly follow Him and be His disciples and do His works - the same works that He did when He was on earth (preaching the gospel, with the signs of the believer following: casting out demons and healing the sick).

We further read in the gospel of Matthew:

And Jesus came and said to them, “ALL AUTHORITY in heaven and on earth has been given to me. GO THEREFORE and MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

And in the gospel of Luke we further read:  Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:  And THAT REPENTANCE AND REMISSION OF SINS SHOULD BE PREACHED IN HIS NAME AMONG ALL NATIONS, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. Luke 24:45-48

Thus, from these three accounts of Jesus' final words to his followers (disciples), we see that we are to GO into all the world and PREACH the gospel everywhere and to everyone. And what is that "Gospel"?  (1) Believe in Jesus Christ; (2) Repent; (3) be Baptized; and (4) receive the Holy Spirit (as we see in the Book of Acts this occurred when there was confessed faith in Jesus Christ, repentance and baptism in water, they would then lay hands on the newly baptized to receive the Holy Spirit).

We further believe that, in addition to preaching the gospel, we are all called to minister to the hopeless and broken, the poor and the hungry, as Jesus made clear in the gospel of Matthew:

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.  Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.  And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.  Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.  FOR I WAS HUNGRY AND YOU GAVE ME FOOD, I WAS THIRSTY AND YOU GAVE ME DRINK, I WAS A STRANGER AND YOU WELCOMED ME, I WAS NAKED AND YOU CLOTHED ME, I WAS SICK AND YOU VISITED ME, I WAS IN PRISON AND YOU CAME TO ME.’  Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?  And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?  And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’  And the King will answer them, ‘TRULY, I SAY TO YOU, AS YOU DID IT TO ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE MY BROTHERS, YOU DID IT TO ME.’“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘DEPART FROM ME, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.  For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’  Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’  Then he will answer them, saying, ‘TRULY, I SAY TO YOU, AS YOU DID NOT DO IT TO ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE, YOU DID NOT DO IT TO ME.’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”  Matthew 25:32-46

So, what we do as a small group of believers is to meet on Wednesday evenings in each other's homes.  We eat together, take communion, pray for each other, engage in discipleship and we learn and discuss the Word of God together.  On Sundays, we meet up to go out into the streets to preach the gospel and proclaim the name of Jesus, to make disciples, to lay hands on the sick and to feed the homeless and minister to the hopeless and broken.

If you live in Las Vegas and would like to be a disciple of Jesus, to have fellowship with other like-minded believers in Christ and to go and out minister together with us, please feel free to contact us from the contact page.  Or you may call us at 702-430-9695 (if you we don't answer, please leave a voice message with your name and a call back number).
